This trip set out in style. A beginner friendly, slay trip involving platform timberlands and hand bags (aka food cooler bags that were definitely not carried the whole way up the hill) was maybe not the most profesh tramp, but definitely an aesthetic. Great skills were developed in tying as many things as possible to the outside of packs, and seeing how long it took before something inevitably fell off!

We walked up the hill to Piggott’s campground, set up tents like professionals before night fall, and enjoyed a slay night of tea and hot chocolate. In the morning, some lovely flies woke us up bright and early with their beautiful harmonies (don’t worry, they didn't manage to get into the tents, just stuck between the fly and inner parts). Then, we did some slay art (see cool pics below), including drawing, painting, and dubious crochet, and walked back down the hill.

Ripe blackberries were also found at the bottom, mega slay for us homo sapiens, tragic they are invasive though (we ignored this fact as we feasted).
